240 Bloom/80 mP.s. This hide glue is a true all-rounder. It can be used to successfully prepare almost every gilder's recipe. Bubbles in the gesso are usually a sign that the glue solution is too weak. In this case, the amount of glue in the gesso recipe can be gradually increased by 20 percent.

400 Bloom/140 mP.s. Rabbit glue and strawberry ice cream have something in common. The ice cream is usually not made from strawberries, and this glue has never seen a rabbit. In the past, rabbit glue was produced from rabbit skins. Today, the glue only roughly resembles those properties and contains hardly any fat. This shortcoming can be counteracted by adding small amounts of beef tallow or linseed oil to the gesso. Rabbit glue has higher gel strength and viscosity compared to traditional hide glues. It is used in poliment recipes or as a glue mixture for gessos that are sprayed with a spray gun.

330 Bloom/110 mP.s. Technical gelatin is a high-quality, low-odor hide glue made exclusively from animal hides. Bones are not used in the production process. Technical gelatin is primarily sold in granule form.
